BATON ROUGE — LSU fans will have the chance to bid on the opportunity to be with the LSU football team on the day of the biggest game in Tiger Stadium in a half century when No. 1-ranked Florida visits Death Valley to play No. 4 LSU at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Bidding for this once in a lifetime opportunity starts at noon today (Tuesday, Oct. 6) and runs through 3 p.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 8. The minimum bid for this auction is $10,000. To place a bid for this LSU Football Experience, go to www.LSUauction.net.
Fans will be bidding on the opportunity for the winner and one (1) guest to take part in the following game day traditions with the LSU football team:
- Walk down Victory Hill with the LSU football team two hours before the game
- Run through the chute and past the LSU band with the Tigers just before kickoff
Some of the other unique opportunities that the winner will get to experience on Saturday include:
- Taking a photo on the field during pre-game warm-ups with head football coach Les Miles
- Watching the Tigers warm-up prior to the game from the sidelines
- See the Golden Band from Tigerland perform their pre-game routine from the sidelines
- Watch the game from the press box with LSU Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva.
The winner and guest will wear an LSU hat and an LSU polo shirt similar to those worn by the coaches. The winner will also receive a parking pass for the game. The prize is not transferrable and cannot be sold. There will be no LSU Priority Points awarded for the winning bid.
