BATON ROUGE — LSU’s game against Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday night in 92,400-seat Tiger Stadium is now officially sold out, assistant athletic director for ticket operations Brian Broussard announced on Friday.
Kickoff between the No. 7/9 Tigers and the Cajuns is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
LSU goes into the game with a 2-0 overall mark following last week’s 23-9 win over Vanderbilt. The Cajuns are 2-0 for the first time since 1990 after knocking off Kansas State, 17-15, last week in Lafayette.
LSU is 21-0 all-time against Louisiana-Lafayette. Saturday’s game will be just the third between the teams since the 1930s. LSU beat UL-Lafayette, 48-0, in 2002 and then followed that with a 45-3 win to open the 2006 season.
