BATON ROUGE — A kids zone area, complete with a giant slide and a bounce house, will be available outside Tiger Stadium on the south lawn prior to LSU’s football game against Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.
The kid’s zone, which is sponsored by the Times Grill, will open at noon on Saturday and will remain open until kickoff. Kickoff for the Tigers and UL-Lafayette is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
The kid’s zone will feature activities for children as well as appearances by Mike the Tiger and the LSU cheerleaders. The LSU women’s basketball team will also be on hand during the day for an autograph session.
Kids can also sign up for Mike’s Kids Club on Saturday at the kid’s zone. For just $30, kids get a t-shirt, membership card, free admission to LSU Olympic sports events, and invites to kids club only gatherings throughout the sports year.
