NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Four members of the LSU women’s tennis team will compete in the SEC Fall Classic held Sept. 11-13 at Vanderbilt’s Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Tennis Center.
Sophomore Whitney Wolf will lead the group as the only experienced Lady Tiger competing in the tournament.
Newcomers Kaitlin Burns, Keri Frankenberger and Ebie Wilson will showcase their talent as the freshmen will get their first taste of collegiate tennis and the Southeastern Conference.
“We’re really excited to get started for our first tournament, and we are particularly looking forward to watching the freshman compete and how they handle the situation and the SEC,” said assistant head coach Lisa Jackson.
The tournament will open with doubles beginning at 9 a.m. CT with singles following at 1 p.m.
