BATON ROUGE — Crowd interaction with the LSU men’s and women’s basketball programs highlights an evening with Tiger Athletics Friday as part of the Live After Five Tailgate 2009 put on by Baton Rouge Downtown Development District.
The free event open to the public runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is located in Galvez Plaza at the corner of Third Street and North Boulevard. The LSU Cheerleaders and Mike the Tiger also are scheduled to appear.
A basketball court will be set-up where the crowd can get an up-close experience with both basketball teams. Members from other LSU teams will be featured in an All-Athlete stage appearance.
Live After Five celebrates 10 years in Baton Rouge this Fall and occurs for eight consecutive weeks until October 30.
