BATON ROUGE — LSU football fans can hear the live play-by-play of Jim Hawthorne from their seats in Tiger Stadium, or any road venue, with a new radio receiver from Live Sports Radio.

This new device gives LSU fans an opportunity to hear the call of the game from Hawthorne and Doug Moreau with no delay and right from your seat in Tiger Stadium or any road venue that the Tigers travel to this year.  LSU fans will hear the Eagle 98.1 feed of the LSU Sports Radio Network broadcast for games in Tiger Stadium and then on the road, Tiger fans will hear a direct feed from the radio booth in the stadium.

Those fans going to Washington for the season-opener can purchase the LSU-branded device at Husky Stadium. The radios will be also be sold inside and outside of Tiger Stadium on game days and cost $20 each. Fans can order two online at www.LiveSportsRadio.com by August 31 and get a third radio receiver free of charge.

The Live Sports Radio receiver is pre-programmed to receive all 12 LSU football games during the 2009 season. When you are not at the game, fans can use the device as an FM radio.
