BATON ROUGE — All of LSU’s student-athletes were officially welcomed to campus Sunday evening with a Back to School Picnic at the Carl Maddox Field House.
The event was highlighted by The Challenge where the student-athletes were divided into four teams representing different sports and competed against each other in six different activities ranging from serving volleyballs to shooting free throws. There also was a Coaches Challenge that involved answering trivia questions.
Head coaches of nearly every LSU sport were in attendance with coaches such as Trent Johnson, Van Chancellor, Paul Mainieri and Fran Flory serving as team captains for the student-athlete challenge.
