BATON ROUGE — With the fall semester set to begin on Monday, members of the LSU men’s and women’s basketball teams helped students move into their dorm rooms as part of the annual “Roaring Into The Halls” on Thursday at the LSU campus.

LSU Lady Tigers Destini Hughes, Erica Williams and Jasmine Nelson were joined by Tiger student-athletes Bo Spencer, Storm Warren, Chris Bass, Zach Kinsley, Alex Farrer, Eddie Ludwig and Aaron Dotson. All players helped incoming students unload cars and haul belongings into dorm rooms on campus.

Up to 2,500 students arrived on campus to move into their rooms during this year’s annual “Roaring into the Halls”. Residential Life staff teamed up with more than 400 volunteers from the LSU faculty, staff and friends of the university to provide incoming students with a warm welcome and a helping hand as they arrived and move into their new homes.

Both teams announced their schedules earlier this week. The LSU men, the defending Southeastern Conference regular season champions, open its season on Friday, Nov. 13 against UL-Monroe in the Maravich Center. The Lady Tigers follow with their home opener two days later on Nov. 15 against Centenary.
