The media guide is 76 pages in length and provides an in-depth look at this year’s LSU footballers as they compete for their third-straight SEC Western Division championship and trip to the NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers, who are set to report for fall camp on Aug. 4, are coming off a historical season in which they earned their highest finish in the Southeastern Conference at No. 2 in the final standings with a 14-4-2 overall record and school record 7-3-1 mark and 22 points in league play.
The 2009 LSU Soccer Media Guide is available for viewing online at the official site of LSU athletics at www.LSUsports.net, and delivery will be available by mid-August.
The Tigers kick off the 2009 season at home on Aug. 14 as they play host to the nationally-ranked Texas Longhorns in an exhibition match scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff at the LSU Soccer Complex. LSU opens the regular season one week later on Aug. 21 as they play host to the Memphis Tigers in a match also set for a 7 p.m. kickoff the LSU Soccer Complex.
