BATON ROUGE — LSU softball signee Rachele Fico will participate in the second annual Under Armour All-America Softball Game Tuesday afternoon at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The game features 30 of the nation’s top high school softball players as selected by the ESPN RISE staff and will be televised on tape delay Saturday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
Fico also picked up Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-American First-Team honors last week to go along with her EA Sports All-American First-Team accolades earned earlier this month. She led Masuk High School to a pair of state championships and broke the national record for career perfect games during her senior season. The Connecticut native racked up 26 perfect games, 47 no-hitters, 95 shutouts and 1,887 strikeouts en route to a 105-3 record with a 0.07 ERA over her high school career.
