LONDON — Former LSU men’s tennis All-American Ken Skupski advanced into the second round of doubles at the Aegon Championships hosted at the Queen’s Club on Tuesday.

Skupski and doubles partner Colin Fleming defeated Andrei Pavel and Horia Tecau in the first round of competition, 7-6 (3), 6-4, to move into the second round to face the top-ranked doubles team in the world, Bob and Mike Bryan.

The former LSU standout is currently ranked No. 148 in the individual doubles ATP Tour Rankings. Skupski entered LSU as a freshman in 2003 and made an immediate impact, tallying a 104-54 record to earn the fourth-most wins in team history.
