BATON ROUGE — The latest installment of LSU Sports Journal, a program highlighting various aspects of the LSU Athletic Department, can be seen on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Cox Communications Channel 4 in the Baton Rouge area.
The show begins with an interview with LSU track and field coach Dennis Shaver, who discusses the NCAA championship meet outlook for both the men’s and women’s teams.
LSU Sports Journal also features a visit with Senior Associate Athletics Director Verge Ausberry, who previews the 2009 football season and offers an inside look at the process of scheduling games.
The show concludes with a pair of baseball segments featuring senior pitcher Louis Coleman and a tour of the New Alex Box Stadium conducted by senior infielder Buzzy Haydel.
LSU Sports Journal may be viewed on the Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area.
