BATON ROUGE — The LSU women’s tennis team posted at No. 23 in the latest Campbell/ITA Rankings released Tuesday.
Nine other Southeastern Conference teams join the Lady Tigers (13-9, 3-7 SEC) in the top 26.
Georgia ranked at No. 3 and Tennessee at No. 10. Arkansas and Florida check in at 14th and 15th while Vanderbilt and South Carolina list as 19th and 22nd. Behind LSU, Alabama and Kentucky place at No. 24 and No. 25. Ole Miss rounds off the list at No. 26 respectively.

Individually, Megan Falcon was voted No. 13. Falcon carries a 30-7 season record and 95-17 career record as she is tied with Carol Boston at No. 11 on the all-time wins list for LSU’s program history.
In doubles, Falcon and Mykala Hedberg jumped six spots to No. 19. The duo is fresh off of a defeat over Arkansas’s then-20th-ranked pair of Nanar Airapetian and Anouk Tigu. The tandem holds a 26-7 record with eight wins over nationally-ranked opponents.
The 10th seed Lady Tigers will be back in action Thursday in a 12:30 p.m. CDT match to face the No. 7 seed Ole Miss at the SEC Tournament in Fayetteville, Ark. at the UA Varsity Tennis Courts.
