Football ‘GameDay’ Program Voted No. 5 in Nation

BATON ROUGE — The 2008 LSU Football Gameday program has been voted No. 5 in the nation, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Monday in the organization’s yearly contest.

The 2008 program was edited by Senior Associate Sports Information Director Bill Franques and designed by Director of Publications Jason Feirman, with photography by Steve Franz.

The program includes feature stories on the LSU players and coaches, rosters, statistics and information about the university. It also includes a summary of LSU Football’s storied history.

The honor marks the second straight season the LSU football game program has earned recognition from CoSIDA. The 2007 program earned best cover honors and was ranked seventh in the nation.
