BATON ROUGE — LSU’s two-sport star Trindon Holliday will be featured as part of SEC-TV this week as reporter Courtney Jones spotlights his brilliant career as an LSU Tiger and takes an in-depth look at how his speed on the track carries over to the football field.

The segment will air during Thursday’s broadcast at 5:30 p.m. CT as SEC-TV will be carried on Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Southwest and Fox Sports Houston.

Holliday is one of the nation’s most electrifying performers on the track and the football field as he helps lead the Tigers in both sports. He has earned a total of six All-America honors during his career as an LSU track athlete, while he is also one of the more accomplished return specialists in the history of LSU football with a two kickoff returns and one punt return for touchdowns.

Not only was Holliday a key component to the LSU football team’s national championship run in the 2007 season, but he has also helped lead the Tigers to a pair of national runner-up finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in each of the last two seasons.

In addition to highlighting Holliday’s career at LSU, Thursday’s episode of SEC-TV will feature several other items of interest to LSU fans, including a preview of the SEC Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, as well as the SEC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships.

Fans who are unable to tune in to Thursday’s broadcast can also see the replay of SEC-TV airing on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. CT on Fox Sports South.
