Softball to Hold ‘Primetime Hitting Sessions’

LSU Tiger Primetime Hitting sessions will be held on Monday nights April 13, 20, & 27 at 6 and 7 p.m. at the new Tiger Park at LSU.

Each hour-long session will consist of detailed instruction, demonstration, drill work and actual game-like application of skills that are taught. Every hitter will be assessed individually and will receive specialized instruction each week.

Beginning hitters will learn all of the fundamental and technical aspects of their swing. Advanced hitters will build on their swing by working on the finer points of hitting while maintaining their form and also fine tuning the hitter’s individual strengths and weaknesses at the plate.

Confident hitters are successful hitters. The hitters will come away from each session with a new outlook on how to approach the art of hitting a fastpitch softball. They will build confidence thru positive instruction, seeing their hard work pay off in game like simulations and learning how to “take ownership” of their swing. Unlike other hitting approaches, the LSU Tiger Primetime Hitting sessions will improve both POWER and BATTING AVERAGE while working ALL 9 areas of the strike zone, including effectively hitting breaking balls AND change-ups.

LSU Tiger Primetime Hitting sessions are open to any hitters aged 8-18 years old. Sessions will be one hour long on Monday nights April 13, 20 and 27 from 6-7 and 7-8 p.m. at the “New” LSU Tiger Park. Each session will be $45 per hitter and will be limited to 20 participants each session.
