BATON ROUGE — Athletes from LSU’s women’s volleyball, soccer, golf and tennis teams volunteered Saturday in the annual Strides & Rides event for the Muscular Dystrophy Association on the LSU campus.
“The Strides & Rides is a great event and this year was no different,” volleyball player Lauren DeGirolamo said. “It’s great to see everyone enjoying themselves while raising money for a worthy cause.”
The Tigers assisted with setting up the race course around the indoor track and encouraged the kids during the race where they could walk or ride.
Afterwards, the Tigers interacted with the kids to complete a fun-filled morning.
