BATON ROUGE — The No. 20 LSU softball team announced Monday the addition of a doubleheader against Mississippi Valley State to its 2009 schedule. The twin bill takes place at the new Tiger Park on March 26 with first pitch slated for 4 p.m.
Fans can purchase tickets for these additional games online at the official Web site of LSU Athletics, www.LSUsports.net, at the ticket office or call (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587. LSU students, faculty and staff are admitted free to regular season games with an LSU ID.
Season ticket holders are encouraged to contact the LSU ticket office to reserve their seats for these additional games.
Mississippi Valley State appeared at the 2008 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional. Former Tiger All-American and 2002 SEC Player of the Year, Trena Peel, is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Devilettes.
