BATON ROUGE — The LSU SportShop, the official gift and merchandise shopping center of LSU athletics, will open the doors to a new 3,200-square foot facility on the LSU campus on Wednesday.
The store will open to LSU fans for the first time at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The store will remain open until halftime of the LSU men’s basketball game against Vanderbilt that night. Normal store hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
This week’s opening of the store will serve as the “soft launch” with the grand opening being held on Saturday, April 18, the day of the LSU Spring Football Game.
The LSU SportShop, located adjacent to Mike the Tiger’s Habitat on the grounds of the Maravich Assembly Center, will feature the latest in LSU apparel and merchandise.
“We will cater to LSU fans of all ages,” Ashley Stringfellow, coordinator of the LSU SportShop, said. “If it says ?LSU’, you will more than likely be able to find it in our store.
“We will have everything from clothing, to shoes to sunglasses and much more. We have done all that we can to stock the store with items that our fans are looking for whether it be a unique LSU item or just a t-shirt. We want to be the one-stop shopping location for LSU fans.”
