BATON ROUGE — The starting time of the LSU-Mississippi Valley State baseball game on Wednesday has been moved to 5 p.m., LSU officials announced Monday.
The game was originally scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., but was moved to 5 p.m. to ease the conflict with the LSU-Vanderbilt men’s basketball game that begins at 7 p.m. in the Maravich Center.
The earlier first pitch time will allow fans the opportunity to watch more of the baseball game before the men’s basketball game begins.
Discounted tickets to the baseball game will be offered to fans with a men’s basketball ticket. Fans that present a men’s basketball ticket at Alex Box Stadium Wednesday may purchase adult tickets for $5 and youth tickets for $3.
