LSUsports.net’s Amanda Joseph spoke to current LSU baseball players, coach Paul Mainieri, and LSU fans as they anticipate the opening of the new Alex Box Stadium last Friday. More than 400 students formed a line outside of the park in hopes that they would be able to experience the inaugural game of the 2009 season.
Coach Mainieri and LSU Baseball players Buzzy Haydel and Jared Mitchell talked about how fortunate they were to be a part of this historic event.
