Fourth in a series of four advisories pertaining to the New Alex Box Stadium
BATON ROUGE ? LSU is opening a new baseball stadium on Friday night and LSU fans are encouraged to be familiar with ticket policies pertaining to the new Alex Box Stadium. LSU will play its first game in the new park on Friday when the No. 1-ranked Tigers host Villanova beginning at 7 p.m. Pre-game ceremonies to open the park will start at 6:15 p.m.
The Alex Box Stadium ticket office is located to the third base side of the front of the stadium and will generally open two hours before every game. For the first game of the year on Friday night, the ticket office will open at noon for Will Call pickup and any fan related services. Distribution of LSU student tickets will begin at 4 p.m. The ticket office will remain open each game until the bottom of the fifth inning.
Baseball ticket holders can pick up Will Call tickets at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office in the LSU Athletic Administration Building until 11:30 a.m. on Friday at which time all tickets will be taken to the new stadium for pickup beginning at noon.

The gates of the stadium will open Friday at 4:30 p.m., but generally will open two hours prior to all other ball games.
Tickets will be scanned at all gates. All persons above the age of 3 must have a ticket to be admitted to the stadium. Children aged 3 and under are admitted free of charge.
Fans who leave the stadium may return if they get their tickets scanned upon leaving the stadium.
All season tickets to LSU baseball games are sold out for the 2009 season. Individual game baseball tickets for most games are still available, although all three games for the opening series against Villanova are sold out. The cost of a home game baseball ticket is $10 (adults) and $5 (youth ages 3-12) for bleacher seats. All phone and internet orders are subject to applicable service fees.
Tickets may not be resold on the grounds of the stadium. The grounds of the stadium are defined as the area immediately surrounding the stadium to include all paved parking lots.
Fans can sell and buy tickets online at the Ticket Marketplace. Go to LSUsports.net, click on Tickets and click on Marketplace. This is the easiest and safest way to re-sell tickets to LSU sporting events.
Fans can transfer tickets to other fans with LSU’s Electronic Ticket Transfer for a nominal fee. Go to LSUsports.net, log into your account and click on Transfer. A print-at-home ticket will be e-mailed from the ticket holder to the receiver.
LSU Athletics tickets are revocable licenses and LSU may revoke tickets at the discretion of the University. These ticket licenses do not confer any property right to the ticket holder.
In accordance with Louisiana state law La. R.S. 4:1, LSU forbids the resale of tickets above the price printed on the ticket.
