BATON ROUGE — Tiger fans will have a chance to watch the LSU gymnastics team’s historic win at Alabama when Cox Sports Television re-airs the meet Thursday at 9 p.m. CT.
Last Friday 10th-ranked LSU defeated fifth-ranked Alabama, 196.625-195.750, marking only the second time in LSU history that the Tigers have knocked off Alabama in Tuscaloosa. LSU’s first win on the Capstone was 1976, two seasons before head coach D-D Breaux took over the program, so the victory also marked Breaux’s first win at Alabama in her 32 years as coach of the Tigers.
The meet was originally broadcast by Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast with Tom Roberts and Andre? Pickens serving as the talent.
CST is available on Cox Cable channel 37 in Baton Rouge.
LSU will be back in action Friday at 7 p.m. in a tri-meet with Illinois-Chicago and North Carolina in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
