The Tigers took control of the SEC Western Division and the overall league lead with a thrilling 97-94 double overtime victory over the Bulldogs. Tasmin Mitchell became the first player in exactly 14 years to score 40 points in a game as he scored 41 points to lead LSU. Mitchell also had 11 rebounds, five assists and no turnovers in 49 minutes.
The game was shot by the LSU for highlights that will also be seen starting Sunday night with the airing of this week’s edition of “Inside LSU Basketball with Trent Johnson” presented by Whitney Bank.
