BATON ROUGE — Baseball’s Paul Bertuccini and Chris McGhee along with Tennis’ James Cluskey spent time Monday reading to fourth grade classes at Lanier Elementary School as part of the “Real Men Read” program.
After reading to the kids, the trio took time to answer questions.
“I enjoyed teaching the kids about where I’m from [Dublin, Ireland] and giving them a different look at the world,” Cluskey, said. “I know they have had tough times and it was worth it if I could make their day better.”
LSU baseball opens the new Alex Box Stadium with a three-game series against Villanova from Feb. 20-22, while men’s tennis heads to Ohio State on Feb. 22.
