BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s basketball game against Arkansas in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Saturday is now officially a sellout, director of ticket operations Brian Broussard announced on Friday.
The sellout is the second-straight for LSU at home as last week’s contest against nationally ranked Xavier was also a sellout. It’s the first time since the 1999-00 season that LSU has sold out back-to-back home games. That year, LSU had three straight home sellouts against Arizona, Auburn and Kentucky.
Tipoff for the LSU-Arkansas game is scheduled for 4 p.m. The game will be televised to a regional audience by Fox Sports Net. The game will also be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and on the internet in the Geaux Zone on LSUsports.net.
Saturday’s game against the Razorbacks has been designated as the celebration of 100 years of LSU Basketball and over 125 former players are expected to be in attendance at the contest. LSU’s All-Century Team will be announced at halftime.
Fans without tickets to the game are invited to the 100th Anniversary festivities, including the free Alumni Game in the Maravich Center at 12:30 p.m. and a free concert in Tiger One Village at 1:30 p.m. (Details).
