Dear Tiger Softball Alumni:
I hope this letter finds you well and warm! We are so excited about the grand opening of the new Tiger Park, Feb. 11, 2009. The game time is set at 6 p.m. with McNeese State. You all have had a part in the building of this new stadium and should take your rightful place on the field during the ceremonies with the current team. My email is ygirou1@lsu.edu, please RSVP to me if you indeed can make it for that historical night and please inform me of how many tickets you would need.
Also, at this time we are going to designate the first SEC opener every year as Alumni weekend where we will try to plan activities and honor you on the field between doubleheaders. That weekend this year is March 7-8 against Kentucky. The ceremony will take place March 7.
Again, this is a tremendous event that will take place on Feb. 11. This is the single largest monetary investment LSU Athletics has made exclusively to any women’s sport. I would love to see you there that night.
