BATON ROUGE — Fans can meet the 2009 LSU softball team during halftime of men’s basketball game against No. 15 Xavier Saturday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers will be autographing posters on the “Heroes Hall” quadrant of the concourse. Season ticket information also will be available for the team’s inaugural season in the new Tiger Park.
There are a limited number of chair-back seats still available for $100, while reserved bleacher seating is $75. Fans are encouraged to get their season tickets to guarantee great seats for LSU’s marquee home schedule that features six games against teams that made the 2008 Women’s College World Series.
The new Tiger Park opens against McNeese State on Feb. 11 after LSU returns from the Paradise Softball Classic where it faces off against Oklahoma, UAB and host Hawai’i.
