BATON ROUGE — The LSU Athletics Department has announced that the LSU men’s basketball game with Louisiana-Lafayette, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. on Dec. 31 will now be moved up to a 1:30 p.m. tip time.
The game change will allow fans to see the Tigers play basketball at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and get home in plenty of time for the kickoff of the LSU-Georgia Tech Chick-Fil-A Bowl at 6:30 p.m. from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
The move will also allow the game to be broadcast on the full LSU Sports Radio Network beginning at 1 p.m. with the pre-game show and through the post-game prior to the start of the Network pre-game show at 4:30 p.m. The game will also be televised live regionally by CST.
