BATON ROUGE — Tickets for the “Tipoff Weekend” featuring special $1 tickets for games Nov. 15-16 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center featuring both the LSU men’s and women’s basketball team are now on sale at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office.
Tickets for both the Saturday, Nov. 15 men’s opener against Jackson State and the Sunday, Nov. 16, women’s State Farm Tipoff Classic in which LSU plays Notre Dame in the first-game of a nationally-televised doubleheader are available for just $1 for each event.
The men’s game on Nov. 15 will tip off at 1 p.m. in the first-ever basketball-football doubleheader as LSU will take on Troy in football that evening at Tiger Stadium. The women’s game on Nov. 16 will tip at 1:30 p.m. with Pittsburgh and Texas A&M to follow in the second game at approximately 4 p.m. Both of the women’s games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
Because of expected heavy demand, tickets can be purchased in advance online at LSUsports.net, over the phone at 800-960-8587 and in person at the Athletics Administration Building.
Season tickets for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams are still on sale for $100 for the men’s games and $95 for the women’s games. A reminder that the athletic department will hold the price at $100 for those who buy and renew men’s basketball season tickets for five seasons as part of the school’s 100th anniversary celebration of men’s basketball.
Single game tickets are also available for many games outside the Tipoff Weekend. Women’s single game tickets are available starting at just $6 for adults. Youth tickets are as low as $3 (ages 12 and under). There is also a special SEC package of tickets available for purchase.
Men’s adult and youth tickets start at just $5 and all non-SEC games are on sale now. Tickets for the eight SEC games, including the 100th anniversary game against Arkansas on Jan. 31, go on sale Jan. 5.
There are also group ticket plans, “Make Your Own” plans and “Family Packs” available for both men’s and women’s games and further information on those plans can be found at LSUsports.net.
