LSU Outlines Fan Entrance Into PMAC

BATON ROUGE — Fans attending all LSU men’s and women’s basketball games are reminded that entrance to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center is available only through the northwest lower, northeast stairwell and all south entrances, due to the construction of the new LSU Basketball Practice Facility.

The northwest upper entrance will not be available for a period of time. The entrance changes will be put into place until further notice.

The Lady Tigers take on Loyola-New Orleans at 7 p.m. Wednesday and play their final exhibition game on Tuesday, Nov. 11 versus the Houston Jags at 7 p.m.

The LSU women officially open the season on Nov. 16 as the Lady Tigers play host to the State Farm Tip-Off Classic. No. 24 LSU faces No. 16 Notre Dame in the first contest at 1:30 p.m. No. 11 Texas A&M plays Pittsburgh in the second game at 4 p.m.

The Tigers tip off the 100th anniversary season of men’s basketball on Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. in the first basketball-football doubleheader conducted since the Maravich Center was built. The LSU football team will face Troy in a 7 p.m. game. That contest was originally set for September but postponed because of Hurricane Gustav.
