The Downtown Business Association has reached an agreement with Hotard Destination Services to provide limited shuttle bus service to/from Downtown to the LSU football stadium for the remaining four home football games. Ticket prices for the round trip will remain at $15 each.
Beginning with the LSU-Tulane game on Saturday, Nov. 1, the following rules and schedule will be in effect for the remainder of this football season for the Downtown Shuttle Bus only:
- All tickets must be purchased from either of the two downtown hotels (i.e. the Sheraton or the Hilton ? call the front desk for available times and ticket pickup locations.)
- Tickets will be available beginning Thursday, Oct. 30, before the Tulane game and on the Tuesday before each Saturday’s game thereafter.
- There will be at least one bus that can accommodate handicapped passengers available for each game.
- Tickets will be sold on a “first-come, first-served” basis and if/when all available seats have been sold, no more riders will be accepted (same conditions as Westmoreland and Farr Park.)
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD TO “WALK-UPS”. FANS MUST PURCHASE TICKETS FROM THE DOWNTOWN HOTELS’ FRONT DESK. - Following is seat availability schedule for the remaining games:
Nov. 1 – vs. Tulane (5 buses = 228 seats)
Nov. 8 – vs. Alabama (11 buses = 540 seats)
Nov. 15 – vs. Troy, Homecoming (4 buses = 176 seats)
Nov. 22 – vs. Ole Miss (7 buses = 332 seats)
* Note: Handicap accessible mini-bus has capacity of 20 seats only - Boarding shall commence two (2) hours prior to kickoff and depart as each bus fills up. The last bus will depart when it has been filled up but in any event not later than one (1) hour prior to kick-off. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TWO HOURS PRIOR TO KICKOFF TO PURCHASE YOUR BUS TICKET. Return buses will begin boarding anytime after the end of the 3rd quarter and depart as they fill up. The last return bus will depart no later than 45 minutes following the end of the game.
- Boarding and return drop-off locations will remain at the public bus stop on North Blvd. (adjacent to Galvez Plaza) or at the Sheraton Hotel on France St.
