This week on GameDay Xtra, LSUsports.net’s Amanda Joseph, a former Golden Girl and 2007 Miss Louisiana, spends time with Richard Dickson, the Tigers’ starting tight end.
In his third year with the Tigers, Dickson already ranks second in school history in TD receptions by a tight end and he’s sixth in school history in receptions for the position.
Off the field, Dickson is an avid fisherman and he spends his summers either out in the Gulf of Mexico fishing or in the LSU weight room getting ready for football season. The son of a former Mississippi State football player and the grandson of an Ole Miss gridiron standout, Dickson has made a name for himself as a sure-handed receiving tight end for the Tigers.
In six games this year, Dickson ranks third on the squad with 16 catches for 154 yards and three touchdowns.
