BATON ROUGE — The latest installment of LSU Sports Journal, a program highlighting various aspects of the LSU Athletic Department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. Monday and at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge.

The show features an insightful interview with former LSU football coach Paul Dietzel, who directed the Tigers to their first national title in 1958. Dietzel, author of a new book, CALL ME COACH: A LIFE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL, discusses his remarkable life in college sports as a coach and athletics director. He also looks forward to the reunion of the ’58 team that will take place prior to the November 22 game between LSU and Ole Miss.

LSU Sports Journal also features a video about the cultural and economic impact LSU Athletics makes upon the state of Louisiana, and Tiger Athletic Foundation representative Joe Carvalhido drops by the studio to discuss the TAF priority points system.

LSU Sports Journal can be seen on the Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area.

The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a monthly, one-hour production featuring interviews with LSU coaches, athletes and administrators.
