BATON ROUGE — The 2008-09 LSU men’s basketball schedule poster, a commemorative edition saluting the 100th anniversary of LSU basketball, along with schedule cards will be available beginning Monday morning at the LSU Sports Information Office on the fifth floor of the LSU Athletic Administration Building.
There is a limit of three posters per person and supplies are limited.
The poster has the complete LSU schedule for the 2008-09 season that begins Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Center against Jackson State. The poster also highlights the 100th anniversary of the program that will be celebrated all season and on the 100th anniversary weekend, Jan. 30-31, 2009 highlighted by the centennial game on Jan. 31 against Arkansas, 100 years and one day after the first LSU intercollegiate sanctioned game played on Jan. 30, 2009.
On the poster are 32 different images in a collage that includes favorite players and things that are important to the history of the program.
Season tickets for the 2008-09 season are on sale at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office with prices beginning at $100 for 21 home games. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.LSUsports.net.
