This week on GameDay Xtra, LSUsports.net’s Amanda Joseph, a former Golden Girl and 2007 Miss Louisiana, goes inside the huddle with LSU center Brett Helms.
Helms, a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Tigers, gives LSU fans an inside look at just what goes on in the offensive line film room each day before practice as well as giving some insight as to what takes place on the line of scrimmage before the ball is snapped.
Helms is the quarterback of the LSU offensive line and he goes into the Florida game having started 30 times at the center position during his career. A native of Arkansas, Helms is a second generation Tiger as his dad earned his Ph.D in agronomy from LSU, while his mom is a Baton Rouge native.
