BATON ROUGE — The last two BCS national champions will square off on prime time television on Saturday, Oct. 11 when LSU travels to face Florida in a game that will be televised to a national audience on CBS.
Kickoff for the LSU-Florida game is set for 7 p.m. CDT from Gainesville.
The appearance will be LSU’s first on CBS this year and it will also mark the second straight year that the LSU-Florida game will be a CBS prime time telecast. Last year, LSU posted a 28-24 win over the Gators in Tiger Stadium.
Other SEC games slated for television include South Carolina at Kentucky at 11:30 a.m. on Raycom Sports and Tennessee at Georgia at 2:30 p.m. on CBS.
