BATON ROUGE — Les Miles will put sixth-ranked LSU through its third and final scrimmage of the preseason on Tuesday as the Tigers will conduct a full contact workout in Tiger Stadium.
Tuesday’s scrimmage will once again be scripted and will feature different situations for both the offense and the defense. The Tigers will also work on all phases of special teams during Tuesday’s scrimmage.
After Tuesday, the Tigers will take Wednesday off before returning to practice on Thursday afternoon as LSU begins its game week preparations for the season-opener against Appalachian State.
LSU hosts Appalachian State at 4 p.m. on Aug. 30 in Tiger Stadium as the Tigers open their fourth season under Miles. The game will be televised to a national audience by ESPN.
