BOSTON — He was called in to the game for the first time in the series in the first half and was on the court at the end of the game as former LSU All-American Glen “Big Baby” Davis and the Boston Celtics captured the NBA championship with a 131-92 win over the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night at the TD Banknorth Garden.
Davis finished with three points and four rebounds in 15 minutes as the Celtics won the series, 4-2.
The rookie from Baton Rouge played 69 games in the 2007-08 season, averaging 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds.
