BATON ROUGE — Friday’s scheduled baseball game between LSU and Stetson has been postponed due to anticipated very cold and wet conditions in Alex Box Stadium.
The teams will now play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday in Alex Box Stadium. The twin bill will consist of two nine-inning games, and there will be a 45-minute break between the games. Fans will be asked to clear the stadium after the first game, and they will be re-admitted to the stadium for the second game.
Fans should use their Game No. 11 ticket for admission to Saturday’s first game, and they should use their Game No. 12 ticket for admission to Saturday’s second game.
Game 3 of the series will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, as originally scheduled.
The first game on Saturday will be broadcast in Baton Rouge on WNXX 104.5/104.9 FM. It can also be heard in the Geaux Zone at www.LSUsports.net.
There will be no audio broadcast of Saturday’s second baseball game due to conflicts with the LSU men’s and women’s basketball games. However, live video from game 2 with no audio will be made available.
Sunday’s LSU-Stetson game will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network (WDGL 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge) and in the Geaux Zone at www.LSUsports.net.
