Marketing & Promotions Announces 2008 LSU Bat Girls

BATON ROUGE — After a selection process that included both written and in-person interviews, the selection of the 2008 LSU Bat Girls has been completed.

As part of the Marketing and Promotions Department, the Bat Girls assist with the operation of home baseball games at LSU and serve as hostesses to Alex Box Stadium.

In addition to retrieving bats, the ladies responsibilities include selling GameDay programs, recovering foul balls, answering fans’ questions and assisting with gameday promotions and giveaways.

This year, more than 60 young ladies applied to be an LSU Bat Girl.
