BATON ROUGE — The telecast of LSU’s win over Ohio State to claim the school’s second BCS National Championship will be re-aired on Sunday starting at noon here locally on WGMB FOX 44, the station announced.
LSU beat the Buckeyes, 38-24, on Monday night in the Louisiana Superdome as the Tigers became the first team in college football to claim two BCS national titles. LSU’s other BCS national title came in 2003 when the Tigers beat Oklahoma, 21-14, in a game that was also played in the Superdome.
The re-broadcast of the LSU-Ohio State game can be seen in the Baton Rouge area on Cox cable channel 6 or the on-air channel of 44.
The broadcast will run from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. FOX 44 said that they have eliminated some of the commercials from the original broadcast for less interruption.
