BATON ROUGE — Three LSU divers earned top-three finishes in the platform event as the LSU Diving Invitational came to a close at the LSU Natatorium on Sunday.
Junior Niko Dalman was the Tigers’ highest scorer in the men’s platform with a third-place score of 298.55. Freshman Michael Neubacher was fifth (292.80), and junior Nathan Schreiber was seventh (223.80). Auburn’s Dan Mazzaterro won the event with a tally of 364.65.
In the women’s platform, senior Paige Brown took second place (236.55) and sophomore Rachel Ware was third (217.20). Georgia Tech’s Stephanie England captured first place with a score of 238.25.
“Overall, it was a good weekend,” said LSU diving coach Doug Shaffer. “It was great to have competitive diving on campus. We haven’t peaked, but as a group everybody did a performed well.”
