Maui Invitational Tickets on Sale Aug. 22

MAUI, Hawaii — The 2007 EA Sports Maui Invitational hosted by Chaminade announced that remaining school booster tickets for the nation’s premier early-season basketball tournament, that this year includes LSU, will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday at 2 p.m. CDT.

Booster tickets are good for entry to all three tournament games in which a particular school will participate.

Tickets can be purchased via the newly redeveloped tournament Web site at www.mauiinvitational.com, or through Oahu Travel, the official travel agency of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational, at 800.826.3822.

In addition, Single Game General Admission Tickets for all of Monday’s games, All-Day General Admission Tickets and remaining Courtside Booster Ticket Packages will go on sale Aug. 22. Courtside Booster Tickets are good for entry to all three of a particular team’s tournament games, accompanied by a pass for the Stadium Club, an exclusive area at the Lahaina Civic Center featuring catered food and beverage, table seating and television access.

Space for the 4th Annual EA SPORTS Maui Golf Invitational, set for Thursday, Nov. 22, is also available. During this golf competition, boosters and fans of the 2007 participating teams will battle for the Booster Cup and bragging rights at the beautiful Ka’anapali Tournament North Course. In its 24th year, the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational will again launch the college basketball season with a marquee lineup, including Marquette, Duke, Illinois, LSU, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Princeton and host Chaminade. The action unfolds Nov. 19-21 at Maui’s Lahaina Civic Center, located less than 1,000 yards from the Pacific Ocean, with ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU combining to offer live television coverage of all 12 tournament games.

LSU will take on Oklahoma State in the opening round of the tournament on Nov. 19 in a game scheduled for 4 p.m. CST. LSU will play either Chaminade or Marquette in the second day of the event.
