Volleyball to Start ‘Frequent Fan’ Promotion

BATON ROUGE — Beginning this season, the 23rd-ranked LSU volleyball team will initiate a “Frequent Fan” program, which can earn participants free admission to matches and possibly a volleyball prize pack.

The “Frequent Fan” cards can be picked up in the Fan Zone located on the concourse of the Maravich Center at each match. Each regular season match is worth one stamp on the card, which can be received at the Fan Zone each match. Once five stamps have been collected, the card can be redeemed for an Advocate Ticket at the Fan Zone, which admits someone for free into an upcoming match.

The Advocate tickets will become available for pick-up beginning with the Florida match, which is the fifth home match of the year. At the end of the season, a drawing will be held involving all redeemed “Frequent Fan” cards to win a volleyball prize pack.

The Tigers will open the season on Aug. 24 against New Orleans in the Maravich Center in the Mizuno Tiger Classic at 7 p.m. The Tigers will then take on Louisiana-Monroe on Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. before closing out the two-day tournament against Saint Louis at 7 p.m. Admission to all volleyball matches is only $5 for adults and $3 for children. Team posters and schedule cards will be available to pick up throughout the tournament.
