BATON ROUGE — Four-year basketball letterman Darnell Lazare and three-time NCAA Women’s Final Four participant Quianna Chaney head a list of 18 LSU student-athletes who received their college degrees Friday in summer commencement exercises.
Lazare completed his eligibility this past season for the men’s team, playing on two Western Division Championship teams, an SEC Championship team and was a member of the 2006 NCAA Final Four team. Chaney still has a year of eligibility remaining for the LSU Lady Tigers. Both student-athletes are from Baton Rouge.
