BATON ROUGE — LSU Sports Properties announced today the signing of Kentwood Springs Water Company to a two-year sponsorship of LSU Athletics. The company, which recently acquired the Abita Springs Water Company, will be licensed to bottle Tiger Water, a branded LSU water product.
“I’m very happy to announce that Kentwood Springs has reestablished itself as a local supporter of LSU and the athletics department,” said Glen Sanders, vice president and general manager of Kentwood Springs. “Our employees are very excited about the opportunity to add Tiger Water to the Kentwood Springs family of products.”
The new partnership continues a long tradition of providing Tiger Water as a marketing tool in support of LSU Athletics.
The new Tiger Water bottle, designed by the LSU Athletics Publications Office, will be on store shelves soon!
“LSU is pleased that Tiger fans can continue to quench their thirst with Tiger Water,” said Brian Hommel, director of trademark licensing at LSU. “Tiger Water will continue to be the cornerstone of our growing number of licensed LSU food products.”
As part of the sponsorship agreement, Kentwood Springs will receive premium signage in Tiger Stadium, Alex Box Stadium and the Pete Maravich Assembly Center; radio, Internet and game program advertising; a promotion during football season; and tickets and hospitality access for sporting events.
