The broadcast, taped in the home city of the Hall of Fame, Natchitoches, will debut on CST at 6 p.m. CDT (Ch. 37, Baton Rouge) Sunday, the first of multiple airings of the one-hour show during the months of July and August.

Hosted by CST personality Lyn Rollins along with LSWA President Kent Lowe of LSU and Louisiana-Monroe media relations director Judy Willson, the show spotlights the inductions of the 2007 class of baseball Hall of Famer Willard Brown, Louisiana-Lafayette and WNBA star the late Kim Perrot, ULM and Super Bowl quarterback Stan Humphries, New Orleans Saints star Pat Swilling, NFL return specialist Brian Mitchell, Tulane basketball star Warren Perkins, LSU track star Esther Jones and longtime Southern Lab coach Joel Hawkins.

The show also includes a look into the future at some of the design work being done now for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame building scheduled to be built in the near future in Natchitoches.

“We are very pleased with the relationship between the LSWA and CST over the last five years and the opportunity to showcase this Hall of Fame to over 1.5 million homes not only in Louisiana but Texas, Arkansas and North/Central Florida,” said Sports Hall of Fame Executive Director Doug Ireland. “This is a wonderful spotlight for our event and our organization and we hope fans enjoy seeing some of their sports heroes again as we showcase the rich sports history in Louisiana.”
