MONROE, La. — LSU Golden Girl Amanda Joseph was crowed Miss Louisiana 2007 on Saturday night in front of a live audience at the Monroe Civic Center and thousands of television viewers statewide.
The 44th annual pageant was broadcast live from the W.L. “Jack” Howard Theatre.
Joseph, who won the preliminary talent competition Thursday, said she was excited about winning and ready to work on her platform of art education. She competed in the Miss Louisiana pageant for four years.
