LSU redshirt freshman Nicole Crochet shot a 5-over 77 and advanced through a four for three spot playoff to advance to the play on Tuesday.
Another Baton Rouge amateur, Julie Harrison, posted a 74 and also advanced to the championship bracket.
Stacy Lewis of Arkansas, the recent NCAA champion and the finalist a year ago, was the opening day medalist with a 5-under 67.
